I highly recommend the class for any and all  current/prospective SP pilots not only for the camaraderie with our fellow  pilots, but most especially for the learning experience. Brian and Carol Carpenter are a couple of great instructors and have really  outdone themselves with the SP repairman's 16 hour course. -R. Williams

I enjoyed spending time with you both at the 16 hour seminar last week . I found it to be very informative, and well worth the effort and  expense, even if I had not been interested in the certificate!  -Mike Dirksen

This course is a must attend for anybody involved in ultralight aviation or general aviation. The Carpenters make a unique team. Their combination of knowledge of aircraft, regulations and teaching abilities comes together in an extremely well presented two day session which makes sense of the fog of the (Sport Pilot Rule) . . . In my 50 years in the industry from C-47s thru 747's, from fighters to trikes, I have attended dozens of ground schools. This one ranks in the top 10%. - R. O'Neal Capt, NWA (ret)

Just to advise that I truly enjoyed and gained much from the Repairman's Course you all led in Albuquerque September 22-24.  It's obvious that you have put a great deal of work into the preparation for this well laid out and presented two days, and we all have come away with a great deal more knowledge about our responsibilities for both maintaining and inspecting our LSA aircraft.Thank you very much for all the effort you put into making this course meaningful and impactful....Barry Hill

I must say I learned a lot for the short time we had. Carol and Brian, you are an great team. I have to be honest -before the course,  I thought I would be helping you teach the class. I was surprised by how much I learn. I really thought - what can they possibly teach me? Boy, was I wrong. Thanks for making this required course so valuable. Doug

Excellent experience. Potential pitfalls and things to consider during your inspection were additions & invaluable in the course. Highly recommend course to anyone, but especially to any LSA and experimental aircraft owners John

Best course of any kind I have attended. "Hands on" was great. I really gained a lot of knowledge!! To be honest I thought I would be just putting in my two days for my certificate. I did not expect the course to be so valuable. Excellent program. Walt

Carol & Brian, Thanks for a great weekend.  Probably the most valuable use of my time in many a year.  Your class was excellent even for an old pilot like myself.  Thanks again, a few of us Lodi Challenger pilots are planning a trip up sometime later this summer we look forward to seeing you folks again.  Thanks again.  Henry (Hank)

I'd like to thank you for putting together an informative and enjoyable sport pilot weight shift repairman course.  It was a very well spent two days of learning for me. I'd recommend it to other ultralight pilots whether or
not they are pursuing their sport pilot rating.  Best wishes,
 Bruce Palmer

I just wanted to tell you what a very nice time we all had taking you course this last weekend. We got back home about 2:00 AM in the morning. I got up early and went down to the FSDO in Van Nuys..No one had every seen these Cert's, but they did know about them. Thanks to this weekend I was able to help them get the paper work done. - Robert Mason

This course is one of the reasons was well organized, professionally given, and focused accurately on what we needed to know to properly inspect our WS aircraft. Well done!

When I signed up for this course I had no idea how much I would learn- I have been flying ultralights for over 25 year and thought I was just "buying" my repairman certificate. Th class was worth every penny and I have have changes several things on my engine as a result of the course. Thank you both.
Message 7
The entire course was excellent. nI do not have an ESLA, but want the information for my amateur built aircraft and was not disappointed. i would have paid twice as much. You guys are doing great things.

Hi Carol and Brian , I've wanted to write to you for a long time, but never got around to it.  I read both your books after taking  the 2 day course.  Both are really well written and gave me great advice. You are  great instructors and offer a quality course. Reading your books and attending your course has given me valuable information. I do not think you should limit your readers to Light Sport-
